Heritage Jacket

The base is a black denim bomber — ribbed collar, classic silhouette, a format with its own long history. Onto this, a screen-printed logo patch anchors the chest, while hand-embroidered and hand-embellished ralli patches are placed across the body. Ralli is a patchwork and quilting tradition from Sindh, historically practised by women as a communal craft — geometric, vibrant, intensely labour-intensive. All-over fashion stitching runs across the jacket surface, adding a layer of construction detail that reads as texture at a distance. Denim and ralli is a specific kind of meeting: two textile cultures, both defined by working-class practicality and extraordinary craft skill, combined on a single garment.
