Nishan Jacket

Nishan means mark — the kind left behind on purpose. Every culture has its marks: symbols carved into doorways, motifs pressed into fabric, logos cut into stone. The Nishan Jacket is RASTAH's version of that act — a garment built from marks, old and new, layered onto a frame that moves through the present. The base is a denim coach jacket, structured and clean in silhouette. Across its surface runs an all-over block print, applied directly to the fabric before construction. Traditional motifs laser-cut from hand-woven khaddar are then placed and fixed onto the shell — each one derived from South Asian architectural and textile heritage. At the back, a laser-cut Urdu RASTAH logo anchors the composition. The coach jacket silhouette is globally legible. The block print, khaddar laser cuts, and Urdu logo turn it into something that could only come from one specific place.
